Good for standard repairs. Shadyside: there's only one. Entrance is from Walnut between the pet store and the bank. Good for standard repairs. Downtown: there are several, but only one as far as I'm concerned. Located on Forbes near the intersection of Forbes and Wood. Excellent work. The only one I know in Pittsburgh who can replace thin European soles, rewrap heels to look original, rebuild shoes to look like new. He's excellent and worth the trip if the shoes are expensive. It's on Murray Avenue near Bagleland. I think I've got the name right. It's the one that's further up the hill. Despite the location, he doesn't have Walnut-type prices. His shop is in the back alley; you will see a small sign right beside the Pet Pad, on your left-hand side going West on Walnut. Actually I know that it is a bit beyond Hobart on the right (going towards Forward). I have had him fix some of my shoes before and they are holding up fine. He custom makes shoes from lasts made from castings of customers feet. This is hand made, quality stuff, and it is priced accordingly. The information is...
