Subject: about mailboxes etc on south craig

On 25 May 1989, I went to MailBoxes, Etc. at 414 South Craig Street to
pick up a box that I had ordered made to enclose a box that I had
brought in the day before. I discovered that the new box was slightly
too small, the result being that I could not close the new box around
my old box without bending the new box. Clearly the new box had not
been made to fit around the old box. So I picked up my box to leave the
store without purchasing the new box. The owner or manager, a man named
Tom, came after me, grabbed my box out of my hand, threw it to the
floor, grabbed me, and violently shoved me into the corner. He kept me
cornered in the corner for a minute or so.

He screamed that the new box was made to the dimensions that I had
given him. All I asked for is that old box fit inside of the new; his
employee Eddie measured the box. I did not.

When I asked him to call the Police, he refused. In order to get my own
box back, I had to pay him for the incorrectly made box.

I tried to press charges on Mr. Thomas Campano for assaulting me.
But the police could do nothing because "the police were not at the
scene to make a determination of the events."

I am now posting this in order to warn people to stay away from this
   store.
