The United Way (and several other organizations) fund an organization called
the Child Care Network.  Parents in need of in-home care, family day care
(i.e. in someone elses home), or center based care for their children
can call the Child Care Network Hotline: (412) 392-3131 or 1-800-392-3131.
They will provide you with the names and phone numbers for day care in any
desired location in Pittsburgh.  They will also send you helpful information
about selecting and screening day care services.
