They have a branch in Shadyside, though I don't know exactly where. If you are having things simply cleaned, you don't have much to worry about. The problems generally arise when you ask them to do things like mend seams or replace buttons. In my experience, four out of five times they won't do the job but will charge you for it. The fifth time, however, was at Footer's and they didn't screw up. If you have them clean dress shirts for you, you ought to make up your mind how you want it done. There are two bits of information that they need: Starch/No-Starch and Folded-in-Boxes/On-Hangers. Pick your poison. Starching makes the shirt stay good looking for longer, particularly after sitting in a suitcase for a day or two, but it does reduce the usable lifetime of the shirt. It also makes the shirt uncomfortable to wear, I think. If you have never had dress shirts cleaned, you should try it once each way (starch, that is) and decide what you like. Marc
