Please send mail to marcoz@cs and I'll forward a summary to Dr. Bovik. Summary: There are three kinds of parking on-site at the airport: short-term, long-term, and extended. Extended is the cheapest, at $5 per day. They frequently run shuttle buses through the lot to/from the terminal at no extra charge. The private lots near the airport can be cheaper. They typically offer free shuttle to and from the airport on need-to-go basis with courtesy phones at baggage claim. Note that some of these lots have a great location for the OLD airport terminal, so allow 15 minutes or so for the shuttle ride. Here are some rates for a 2 week stay: PIT Airport Parking (472-5050), $5/day, $70 for 2 weeks sometimes you can get a coupon for a $3/day rate Private lots: Globe (264-4373), $55 for 2 weeks, (Plus a free carwash) 20% off with Donnely Directory coupon Charlie Brown (262-4931), $51 for 2 weeks Airways (331-8600), $71 for 2 weeks (Expensive!) This is not a complete survey, but from the information above, it looks like the extended-term airport parking is best deal if you have a coupon, and Globe is the best deal otherwise. Thanks to Stephen Weeks, Michael Littman and Eliot Moss for their input. == Marco
