Jessica Hodgins, Professor CSD and RI, is among the interdisciplinary team of artists, actors, and computer scientists to produce Oral Fixations featured in "Animal Nature," an exhibition at the Regina Gouger Miller Gallery in which artists explore the ways humans construct perceptions of the planet's other animals. Gates Center Construction to begin 2006! Carnegie Mellon University has selected Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects of Atlanta to design its Gates Center for Computer Science, a new campus facility for which construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2006. Read more

The Language Technologies Institute will hold its Student Research Symposium (SRS) on Friday, Sept. 23, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m, in NSH 1305. SRS is a one-day series of presentations designed to increase awareness of research conducted by students within the LTI.
