Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

The Bachelor of Science program in Computer Science combines a solid core of Computer Science courses with the ability to gain real depth in another area through a required minor in a second subject. In addition, there are numerous choices in the curriculum for science and humanities courses. As computing is a discipline with strong links to many fields, this provides students with unparalleled flexibility to pursue allied (or non-allied) interests.

Bachelor of Science in Computational Biology
The School of Computer Science and Mellon College of Science have joined forces to establish an exciting new interdisciplinary program leading to a B.S. in Computational Biology. The goal of this new degree program is to provide an intensive interdisciplinary education to enable outstanding students to become leaders in identifying and solving tomorrow's biological problems using computational methods.

Andrew's Leap
Andrew's Leap is an SCS summer program where local area high school students have an opportunity to interact with some of the country's leading scientists and be exposed to the frontiers of computer science.
REU Programs (Research Experience for Undergraduates). By engaging undergraduates in research and professional activities, REUs help motivate students to consider graduate education. REUs also provide students a head start in applying to graduate school and a head start as they begin their graduate education and professional careers.
