10th annual (and completely virtual) Space Apps Challenge

Career Center Event
Saturday, October 2, 2021 (All day) to Sunday, October 3, 2021 (All day)

From October 2nd to the 3rd, NASA and the Space Apps Global Organizing Team will hold the 10th annual (and completely virtual) Space Apps Challenge.

Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, artists, storytellers, makers, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with resources including NASA’s free and open data, to address real world problems on Earth and in space.

Pittsburgh will be returning to the Challenge this year and representing its strengths: Robotics, software, education, art, medicine, and many other areas!

Space Apps is for everyone!  No experience coding or "hacking" is required.

We are looking for participants (students and adults), judges, mentors (Subject Matter Experts), and groups interested in sponsoring the event.  We believe there are many benefits for potential sponsors and partners, including exposure and access to local talent.
