► Alana Cheeks-Lomax - Alana Cheeks-Lomax is a mission driven strategist with over 10 years of consulting experience providing management and strategy solutions to non-profits, public, and private sector organizations looking to achieve their strategic objectives through business transformation, organizational growth, and social impact. She is passionate about bringing innovative ideas to the intersection of business and society, using her experiences to solve an organization's most challenging problems.
Alana currently works at Square, Inc, where she leads Inclusion & Diversity for their Cash App business. In her role at Cash App, Alana is responsible for developing the strategic direction of the I&D work, and partners closely with the leadership team to drive a culture of inclusion across the global ecosystem. Prior to joining Square, Alana worked at Microsoft where she led the company’s Diversity & Inclusion reporting strategy including the analysis of diversity data, identification of trends and patterns in data, and communicating insights to the CEO and his executive team. She was also responsible for partnering with the company's Center of Excellences to drive the Diversity & Inclusion strategic planning process while supporting the global strategy and implementation. Prior to Microsoft, Alana spent seven years at Deloitte Consulting as a strategy manager, leading several projects in the healthcare space. During her time at Deloitte, she co-founded Communities of Color from Coast-to-Coast (C2C), a program which champions user-centered design and grassroots inclusion practices that promote the retention, advancement and well-being of global talent, starting from the viewpoint of black women.
Alana is a proud alumna of Carnegie Mellon University where she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, and Masters in Healthcare Policy and Management from the Heinz School of Public Policy.
► Bella Guyott - Bella Guyott (she/her) is an Analyst with the Health Care team at the US Government Accountability Office (GAO), where she has spent the past year working on COVID-19 in nursing homes. She graduated from CMU’s MS Public Policy and Management (DC track) program in 2018, and did her undergraduate studies at Millsaps College (BA, 2012). Bella is queer and transgender, and she believes it is important for LGBTQ+ people generally, and transgender and gender non-conforming people especially, to be visible in the workplace. She strives to ensure that GAO’s work and workplace culture are inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as of other protected classes and marginalized groups.
► Viviana Mauri - Viviana Mauri is Senior Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President, Communications and Chief Inclusion Officer at WarnerMedia. WarnerMedia is a powerful portfolio of iconic entertainment, news and sports brands including HBO, Warner Bros., Adult Swim, Bleacher Report, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, CNN, ELEAGUE, RoosterTeeth, TBS, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), TNT, truTV, Turner Sports and more. Prior to her current role, Viviana was Executive Assistant Staff Floater at HBO.
Viviana attended Mount Holyoke College on a full-tuition, merit-leadership scholarship via The Posse Foundation. In 2014, she graduated with a B.A. in Sociology with minors in Film Studies and Journalism, Media, and Public Discourse. Immediately after Mount Holyoke, Viviana earned a Master of Entertainment Industry Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University (2016).
The proud daughter of immigrants, Viviana was raised in Miami, Florida, immersed in Spanish language and her Venezuelan-Cuban-Spanish heritage. Viviana studied for six years in a Spanish International Studies Program and later became an alumna of Young Women’s Preparatory Academy (2010), Miami’s first leadership magnet for girls. Viviana resides in Los Angeles with her fiancé and their Goldendoodle. In her spare time, Viviana volunteers as Posse National Alumni Advisory Council (PNAAC) for Posse Los Angeles.
► Franz Wayne Rivera - Franz Wayne Rivera was born in the Philippines, raised in Palau, and calls Los Angeles home. Franz works as a Compensation Partner at Riot Games, where he leverages analytics and policy knowledge of the employment ecosystem to deliver human capital insights at scale. He is passionate about workplace culture, pay equity, and elevating D&I in gaming and entertainment. Prior to becoming a Rioter, he worked as a Diversity & Inclusion Partner at AIG, where he strengthened diversity pipelines through industry/non-profit partnerships, supported executive leadership programs for underrepresented populations, and served as a D&I SME for 135+ Employee Resource Groups. Franz is a proud double-Heinzer, having earned his MSPPM in 2018 and completed his PPIA JSI in 2012. He was one of the founders of the Council for Diversity, Richness, and Inclusion (CDRI) and established the Diversity in Policy Mentor Program (DPMP). Prior to Heinz, Franz worked in transatlantic affairs in Germany and Washington DC, studied at UC Santa Barbara, and was a competitive hip-hop dancer.
