Dr. Po Shen Loh, associate professor in mathematics and former Hertz winner, will speak to the group about the opportunities and application process for the awards.

It is especially helpful to look at the website and also read the bios of the winners.   The Hertz Foundation Fellowship is a HIGHLY selective award —  ~800 students apply for 10 spots.  It attracts students who have strong academic backgrounds, with significant research, who are big thinkers.
