The purpose of the fund is to provide support to initiatives that promote equity, diversity and inclusion in the Robotics Institute. Such support may include, but is not limited to, support for faculty and staff, fellowship support, seminars, and any other operating expenses that promote these goals. With respect to fellowship support, the fund may support those students who are enrolled in the Robotics Institute and who are underrepresented at the university, including, but not limited to, those who come from underprivileged socioeconomic status; from underrepresented geographic areas; who grew up in single-parent households; or who were first in their families to attend college.
