SCS Affiliates Earn Carnegie Science Awards

Brett Slezak, a teacher in the Allegheny Valley School District and an active member of both the Arts and Bots program and the Fluency Project in the Robotics Institute's CREATE Lab, will receive the 2017 Carnegie Science Award for Middle Level Educator. Alexandra To, a Ph.D. student in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute, will receive an honorable mention in the University/Post-Secondary Student category when the Carnegie Science Center presents its awardsFriday, May 12, at the Carnegie Music Hall.
